The Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (East) is located at Chennai. The entire coastline from Puvar in Tamil Nadu to Ichchapuram in Andhra Pradesh comes under the jurisdiction of the Commander, Coast Guard Region (East). There are four Coast Guard District Headquarters, five Coast Guard Stations, one Air Station and one Chetak flight in the Eastern Region.
