Sanjeevan - Healthy Soul Healthy Minds
The first step towards a healthy mind & body is – Awareness, which is what Sanjeevan, the health wing of CGWWA predominantly does. The reaching out is done primarily by organizing lectures on important topics such as Health, Hygiene & Nutrition, creating awareness on the potentially fatal AIDS & Cancer detection, coordinating drives on Blood donation and awareness camps for mothers on Health care. Yoga & meditation classes form the key drivers for promoting good mental health. Sanjeevan also facilitates counselling for those in need to promote and further its aim of a healthy mind.
Activities undertaken by Sanjeevan are as Follows : -

- Free Health camps for underprivileged
Team Sanjeevan conducted an interactive session on “Naturopathy – Healing with herbs” on 22 Nov 24 at Arkaja.
Blood donation camp was organized with coordination of GB Pant Hospital on 25 Jan 24.

A medical lecture on ‘Women’s Health’ was conducted on 08 Mar 24.

In association with MDS Dental and Implant Clinic, Karaikal, organised a Dental Health Camp for serving, dependents and civilian personnel on 07th Nov 24.
Breast Cancer Screening camp for families of Coast Guard personnel was conducted on 15th Oct 24.
CGWWA Tuticorin had arranged a lecture on “Awareness of Cancer” on 27th Nov 24.
A lecture on “Awareness of Vericose Veins” on 23rd Nov 24 was conducted.
Health activity was organised by CGWWA members in co-ordination with of Vasan Eye Care at Mandapam on 20th Dec 24.
A Health Screening Camp for cervical cancer was organised on 22th Dec 24 at CGWWA centre, CGRA Maniktala.
A mental health awareness class was organized at Community Center, CGRA on 28th Oct 24.
Women wellness Camp on Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer was organized on 09th Nov 24.
Lecture on Mental Health & Wellness awareness on a digital platform for CG personnel and their families was con ducted on 28th Dec 24.
A blood test camp was organised by CGWWA Haldia for CG wives on 14th Nov 2024.
An Ayurveda Medical Camp was organized on 24th Oct 24 at CGWWA Community Hall, Okha in coordination with District Ayurveda Office, Dwarka and associates.
A medical lecture on “Immunization” was conducted for all CGWWA members on 04th Dec 24.
Lecture on “Medicinal plants and their use” was conducted by CGWWA, Jakhau on 04th Dec 24.
A Blood Donation camp was organised on 01st Oct 24 at Vadinar in coordination with District Hospital Jamkhambaliya.
On 24th Oct 24, Sanjeevan Porbandar organized a lecture and presentation on diabetes awareness and its dietary management.
On 21th Oct 24, a medical lecture on UTI was delivered by Sanjeevan Co-ordinator, Veraval.
Team Sanjeevan organised a workshop on “Enhancement of Lungs Capacity through Chair Yoga” on 21st Nov 24.
Cancer detection camp was organized on 17th Dec 24.
The first cervical cancer vaccination camp was organized on 30th Nov 24.
On 01st Oct 24 a Blood Donation Camp was conducted.
On 29th Nov 24 the event featured a session on “Sujok Therapy” was conducted.
A Dental Screening Camp for Women as well as for dependents of Coast Guard Personnel was organised on 12th Nov 24.
Health Committee of Daman organized an Ayurvedic Camp by the team of renowned doctors from “Art of Living Foundation”.
