Srishti - Go Green Motto

Another emerging area where CGWWA has become increasingly active is in relation to Environmental issues. Srishti’s priority is to Educate the Community, especially Children, to inculcate the habit of nurturing the Environment and making them realize the need to preserve it.

Activities Undertaken by Srishti are as Follows: -

Team Shrishti conducted a session on Bio enzymes on 16thApril 2025. The objective of the activity was to spread awareness about eco-friendly cleaning alternatives and promote sustainable living through the use of bio enzymes.

Shrishti Team organized a lecture on Marine Biodiversity of the A&N islands on 17th Feb 25 with special reference to schedule animal in the Wild Life protection Act, 1972.

A ‘Tree plantation’ drive was organized on 8th Mar 25 as part of International Women’s Day.

As Part of“ Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam “ CGWWA Committee organised a Tree plantation on 16th Jan 25.

A tree plantation was organized on 11th Feb 25.

Srishti (Environment) organized an engaging pot-making competition, encouraging creativity and craftsmanship among participants.

As part of its environmental initiatives, organized an activity on the theme Kitchen Garden. The event aimed to promote sustainable living and encourage members to grow their own vegetables and herbs at home.

As part of an environmental activity, a tree plantation drive was organized at CGRA Paradip on 27th January 2025.

On 10th Feb 2025, the Welfare team of Paradip conducted a demonstration on making ‘Organic eco-friendly Holi colors.’ The demonstration included the preparation of natural colors using flower, leaves, vegetable and fruit peels.

A tree plantation drive was conducted with all CGWWA members on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th Mar 25.

As part of Environment activity, a walkathon was conducted on 16 Mar 25 from CGDHQ-15 to Sudarshan Setu, Okha.

Tree plantation was organized on 25th Jan 2025.

A Tree Plantation drive was conducted on 4th Jan 25 The event was aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage CGWWA members to plant trees.

Birds Bath and feeders were placed at various locations across ICGS Vadinar campus on 11th Mar 25. This initiative aimed to support and nurture the local bird population, promoting environmental conservation and biodiversity.

Tree plantation was organized for CGWWA members on 11th Feb 25 in and around Family Welfare Centre.

On 23rd Jan 25, a painting and drawing competition for school children as part of an environmental awareness initiative. The theme of the event, "Save Environment, Save Earth," encouraged young participants to showcase their creativity while reflecting on the importance of conservation.
