Annual Commander’s Conference was held at CGHQ from 24 – 26 Sep 18. Both CGCs & all Regional Commanders took part in the three days event. Hon’ble Defence Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman was briefed about ICG activities on 24 Sep 18. Senior officers of ICG discussed on various issues and future prospects of the service during the meeting. CGBA council meeting-2018 and Sports Council Board meeting 2018 were also held during the period.

In order to recognise the efforts and hardwork of the individuals towards accomplishment of target/ projects based upon their diligence, sincerity, hardwork within M&M division, award of Letter of Appreciation by DDG (M&M) on quarterly basis was instituted. Letter of Appreciation for quarter Jul - Sep 18 has been awarded to Ravinder, P/Adh (ME), 01874-P from Directorate of Material by Inspector General TP Sadanandan, TM, DDG(M&M) on 28 Sep 18 at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi.
