SRISHTI - GO GREEN MOTTO
Another emerging area where CGWWA has become increasingly active is in relation to Environmental issues. Srishti’s priority is to Educate the Community, especially Children, to inculcate the habit of nurturing the Environment and making them realize the need to preserve it.
Activities Undertaken by Srishti are as Follows : -

On 11 Oct 23, Shrishti team gave a talk on importance of reducing the use of single plastic and recycling of household waste and plastic items at Welfare Centre, CGRA Meenambakkam.
On 18 Oct 23,Shrishti team gave a talk on importance of reducing the use of single use plastic and plastic items and a demo was also given on how to make beautiful pots and planters.
Environment Committee co-ordinator Mrs. VeenaJadav conducted a ‘Best out of Waste’ contest where the participants displayed the crafts and handmade projects made out of waste materials, plastic wastes, and other reusable items.
On 06 Dec 23, the Environment unit of CGWWA, Tuticorin had organised a lecture on “Reuse/recycle house hold waste into decorative and usable items”.
