SRISHTI - GO GREEN MOTTO
Another emerging area where CGWWA has become increasingly active is in relation to Environmental issues. Srishti’s priority is to Educate the Community, especially Children, to inculcate the habit of nurturing the Environment and making them realize the need to preserve it.
Activities Undertaken by Srishti are as Follows : -

A lecture on the topic ‘Sustainable Crafting: Upcycling of waste to make pots and plant holders at home” was delivered on 29 August 23 by Mrs. Saakshi.
On 12 September 23, Team Srishti conducted an activity and lecture on the topic “Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in Eco friendly way” was given by Mrs Richa Raturi.
On 16 Sep 23, Coastal Cleanup day was celebrated by Tatrakshikas of Goa along with service personnel.
On 19 Jul 23, a presentation / demo was given by Mrs Aathira Ramesh to Tatrakshikas on how to make home-made compost by using food waste.
On 16 Sep 23, International Costal Cleanup drive was conducted at Fort Kochi beach.
International Coastal Cleanup Day was observed by CGWWA alongwith ships company on 16 Sep 23 at Kovalam beach.
Tree plantation was organized on 20 Jul 23 and a lecture on how to take care of plants during monsoon season was also given by Mrs. Nitu Yadav.
A tree plantation drive by the CGWWA members was held at Godu Tai Jambhekar Vidyalaya, Ratnagiri on 05 Aug 23.
A Tree plantation drive was organized on 13 Jul 23 at, DHQ-12 premises, Kavaratti.
Tree Plantation Drive was organised by CGWWA Members with President CGWWA ICGS Dahanu.
