The Third Technical Meeting was conducted by Regional Headquarters (East) on 05 Jul 24 at Chennai.

ICGS C-430 conducted Community Interaction Programme in month of Jul 2024 at various fishing villages off Kakinada. During Community Interaction Programme, fishermen were briefed about importance of lifesaving equipment onboard, donning procedure of life jackets, operating procedure of DAT, awareness about the endangered species, adherence of color code for boats and awareness on banned fishing gear.

A team of 92 GST and Central Excise Inspectors embarked onboard ICGS Sagar at Chennai on 16 Jul 24 for field attachment as a part of their training module. During the attachment, the trainees were provided with a brief exposure on the role of Indian Coast Guard followed by acquaintance to sea sortie.
