The Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (East) is located at Chennai. The entire coastline from Puvar to Ichchapuram comes under the jurisdiction of the Commander, Coast Guard Region(East). There are four Coast Guard District Headquarters, five Coast Guard Stations, one Air Station and one Air Enclave on the Eastern seaboard of India.
