SURUCHI - ENHANCING SKILLS TO KEEP UP WITH TIMES
The aim of Suruchi (Welfare) is to bring about financial independence and confidence in ladies by teaching them various skills. Welfare being the focal point for CGWWA, various steps have been taken to bring out as well as inculcate various skills in the ladies. Regular classes and demonstrations such as painting, tailoring, embroidery, beautician, etc. are conducted at CGWWA welfare centres

Lecture on Ragi the wonder Millet, benefits and receipes demo was givenon 15 Feb 24.
On 11 Jan 24, a demo on how to make Nut Butter was given.
On 6 Feb 24, Monthly activity “Dhakra Art” was conducted.
On 4 Jan 24, Yoga workshop was organized.
A Homemade Sesame Jaggery Sweet Competition was conducted on 10 Jan 24.
A welfare activity ‘Demo on Homemade Chocolates’ was organisedon 04 Mar 24.
Quiz competition was organised at Headquarters on the occasion of “CG Week Celebration” on 26 Jan 24 for CGWWA members.
The welfare unit of CGWWA Tuticorin had arranged a demo on “Cake baking and decoration” on 09 Feb 24.
