DGICG Indian Coast Guard has been a vital part of service to the Nation since more than four decades for safeguarding the maritime interest and meeting challenges for safe water. Indian Coast Guard has continued to put its seamless service to enforce a nation’s maritime laws, search & rescue, aids to navigation, port security, assists vessels wrecked near its coasts and many more.The present positive stature of Coast Guard is because of strong foundation by its revolutionary first-generation Officers and Men. We still cherish our decorated veterans, who are still tapping bootsand giving guidance, adding value to service and are part of Coast Guard family.
For providing and addressing CG veteran, the Coast Guard Veteran Cell was formed at the Coast Guard Headquarters for taking care and redressal for all post retirement matters, procedures issues of our Veterans, their families and NoK. Veteran Cells have been established at all nodes of RHQs, DHQs and Stations. Coast Guard Veteran Cells will assist our esteemed veterans on issues related to processing post retirement/social life.
The CG Veteran portal is one of the inventiveness by CG Veteran Cell to facilitate single window mechanism for our veteran to provide them timely and user friendly service round the clock for efficient communication. CG Veteran Cell will continue to provide updated information, notices to inform about benefits / rules on/post retirement.
The connection between serving personnel and the veterans is intangible, everlasting, and strong.
