The Coast Guard Veteran Cell was activated at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi on 16 Jul 2015 to offer a centrally managed platform to address various issues related to retired / retiring personnel of the Indian Coast Guard. The key responsibilities of CG Veteran Cell include processing of pension, gratuity and leave encashment claims, online verification of ECHS application, redress of issues related to pensionary and terminal benefits, maintaining records of CG veterans and dissemination of information related to CG Veterans.
