Inspector General Maneesh V Pathak assumed command of Andaman & Nicobar Region on 04 Jun 2018. He joined the Indian Coast Guard in Jul 1989.

The Flag Officer is alumnus of US Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut, where, he has undergone prestigious IMOC Course. During his lustrous career he has served in various sea and shore appointments with distinction. The prominent among the afloat appointments are Command of Advance Offshore Patrol Vessel ICGS Sankalp, Offshore Patrol Vessel ICGS Vajra and Inshore Patrol Vessels ICGS Ramadevi & ICGS Kamladevi. The noteworthy ashore appointments of the Flag Officer are Chief of Staff to Coast Guard Commander (Western Seaboard), Commander Coast Guard District No.4 (Kerala & Mahe) and Principal Director (Admin) & Director (MPR & T) at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi.

IG Maneesh V Pathak hails from New Delhi and completed his graduation from Delhi University. The Flag officer is avid reader and his hobbies include gardening and sketching.

The Flag Officer is recipient of "Commendation" by the Director General, Indian Coast Guard and Tatrakshak Medal for meritorious service.

IG Maneesh V Pathak is married to Mrs Mohita and blessed with two sons Dhruv and Anshul.
