SURUCHI - ENHANCING SKILLS TO KEEP UP WITH TIMES
The aim of Suruchi (Welfare) is to bring about financial independence and confidence in ladies by teaching them various skills. Welfare being the focal point for CGWWA, various steps have been taken to bring out as well as inculcate various skills in the ladies. Regular classes and demonstrations such as painting, tailoring, embroidery, beautician, etc. are conducted at CGWWA welfare centres

Team Suruchi TRV Borivali organised an activity “Mithai Master Chef” ‘Ghar Ki Mithai Ka Swad Tatrakshika on Ke Saath’ on 20 Oct 23.
Dussehra festival was celebrated by CGWWA members on 24 Oct 23.
CGWWA Ratnagiri celebrated Diya competition on 02 Nov 23 at ICGAS Ratnagiri.
A welfare activity “Terrarium Making” was conducted on 12 Oct 23 at CGWWA Welfare centre at TRV, Goa.

Suruchi (Welfare) Committee had put up a Mehendi Stall at the Diwali mela on 09 Nov 23 which was a popular and vibrant addition to the festivities.
Suruchi (Welfare) Committee organized a class on 19 Dec 23 for embroidery stitching in which various type of designs were explored and taught to ladies.
As a part of celebration towards “International year of Millets” Demo on making Laddooswas organized on 11 Oct 23.
As a part of International year of millets, a cooking competition was organized on 20 Nov 23for dishes made by using millets.
